Those interested in nature and wildlife will love the Great Wall of China hike. You not only see spectacular scenery but also an array of wildlife in the surrounding areas. If you're lucky you may even spot a panda! Huangshan, Emeishan, and Taishan are spectacular mountains that are a must see for the landscape lover.
Here are some other exciting points of interest in China that are well worth a visit:
Forbidden City or Palace Museum. For 500 years this has been the imperial palace of Ming and Qing emperors. You'll see spectacular gardens and palaces here as this is one of Chinas greatest remaining historical sites.
See the Ming Tombs just outside of Beijing. This is where Ming emperors were buried. This is a nice cultural site.
Xi'an's Terracotta Army is an amazing and unique attraction of 6,000 life-sized warriors and horses. Has to be seen to be believed!
See Confucius' Tomb in Qufu. You will also see his Temple and Mansion. Yu can then visit the 2500 year old Suzhou which is like Venice in China. There are spectacular water gardens and gardens such as the Humble Administrator's Garden and the Garden of the Master of the Nets.
